 If you find yourself in close contact with your attacker, use the strongest part of your body to injure them and get away.

The elevator will always be safer than a secluded stairwell. Standing near the front allows you to get off if you feel threatened or uncomfortable as well as control the buttons. STT43

Running gives your best chance of survival. The predator will only hit 4 out of 100 times & even then, it will most likely not be a vital organ. STT44

 While your natural inclination in times of trouble is to yell ‘HELP’, others are much more likely to come to your rescue or contact emergency officials if you yell ‘FIRE’.
